Five men have gone on trial in Paris for their role in the crash of a Concorde jet 10 years ago. Continental Airlines is also being charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the crash, which investigators allege was caused by a strip of metal that fell off a Continental plane and onto the runway. The defendents are three French aviation experts, a welder who worked for Continental and his supervisor.
