In Nigeria's Okomu National Park, former poachers and loggers are being retrained as rangers to protect one of West Africa's last rainforests.

Recruited locally, they patrol against deforestation and wildlife crime while earning a living wage. Backed by conservation partners, the program aims to address poverty driving illegal activity.
