Carla del Ponte, Chief UN War Crimes Prosecutor, has been visiting Serbia, now that the hunt for General Ratko Mladic is gaining momentum after the government in Belgrade put a price on his head. If del Ponte is successful, it will help distract public attention from the fact that another wanted war criminal, Radovan Karadzic, is still at large. del Ponte's former spokesperson maintains that the international community is not even trying to arrest these men, aware that they might give evidence that would put international peacekeepers in a bad light.
