Mass protests across France brought together students, trade unions, and Yellow Vest activists over living costs, schools, and wages.

Mass protests have spread across France, bringing together students, trade unions, and Yellow Vest activists over concerns ranging from school conditions and living costs to wages and pensions. While many demonstrations remained peaceful, violence erupted in several cities, including clashes with police in Paris and attacks on public buildings in Lyon and Marseille.

Speaking to DW, protesters described growing frustration across generations, while others warned that escalating violence could undermine legitimate grievances.
