A come-from-behind victory in Dortmund by Eintracht Frankfurt put Frankfurt in seventh place in the Bundesliga table on 31 points.

Frankfurt's goal in the eighth minute from Benjamin Koehler put the visitors ahead, only for Dortmund to draw level a minute later through a goal by Mats Hummels.

That was followed by a crowd-pleasing goal from Argentine Lucas Barrios in the 57th minute to put Dortmund ahead. Sebastian Jung brought Frankfurt back to level terms eight minutes later, scoring his first Bundesliga goal with a superb long shot, and Alexander Meier ensured Eintracht would take three points from the match in the 74 minute, after being fed by a fine, defense-splitting pass from Halil Altintop.

Dortmund's defeat leaves them and Frankfurt still in with a chance of qualifying for a next season's Europa League. Dortmund are in fifth place with 36 points, five points ahead of Frankfurt.

In Mainz, the home team moved up to eighth place with 30 points after a 1-0 victory over Borussia Moenchengladbach. The only goal of the game came from Danish defender Bo Svensson, three minutes before the break.

Mainz is now just three places away from a Europa League place. Moenchengladbach, with 25 points, remains in 13th place.
