A groundbreaking new bill which would make it illegal to promote ''extreme thinness'' has been adopted by the French parliament's lower house. The law takes aim at websites that advise anorexics on how to starve and may also target fashion industry heavyweights. It recommends fines of up to 30-thousand euros and even prison sentences for offenders. The bill goes to the French Senate in the coming weeks.
