It's being hailed as a "new era" in Franco-British relations. On his two-day state visit to London, French President Nicolas Sarkozy has vowed to deepen bilateral ties with Britain and boost cooperation on a wide-range of issues. Both he and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown have also agreed to hold regular summit meetings to coordinate policy.
