Serbian students take their pro-democracy, anti-corruption protest to the EU, running from Novi Sad to Brussels.

On November 1, 2024, the canopy at the entrance to Novi Sad railway station collapsed, killing a total of 16 people and triggering a wave of protests around the country that has continued for over six months now.

Throughout this time, Serbian students have played a leading role in these peaceful anti-corruption, pro-democracy demonstrations.

On April 25, a group of 21 students set out from Serbia to run to Brussels to call for justice for the victims of the Novi Sad train station tragedy and to highlight the situation in Serbia.
