Full of Energy - Energy Self-Sufficient Villages Could Show Cities the Way

The village of Wildpoldsried in the Allgäu generates enough electricity to satisfy the needs of all its 2,500 residents. It produces the power from biogas and wind turbines. Wildpoldsried has done this so well that it's become a model village, attracting many visitors from Germany and abroad. But can a small community like this really provide a model for large cities?
