# In the run up to the G-20 summit - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has expressed concerns about divisions between the world's leading economies over currencies and trade, calling for unity as world leaders gather in Seoul. Germany and several other nations have criticized a U.S. proposal to limit trade imbalances by imposing export quotas. Washington policy makers are also concerned about the US trade deficit with Asian nations - including China and South Korea.
