With Israeli elections approaching, former army chief Gadi Eisenkot is emerging as Benjamin Netanyahu's main challenger. Who is the Yashar leader, and why are voters backing his call for accountability and unity?

Gadi Eisenkot, a former Israeli army chief and founder of the centrist Yashar party, is positioning himself as the main challenger to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuin the upcoming election.
