Gay activists call for protests at Sochi Olympics

Russia's new anti-gay law is threatening to overshadow next year's Winter Olympics in Sochi. The legislation has been criticised as discriminatory by human rights groups with critics saying it could become a de facto ban on gay pride parades. Many activists are calling for a boycott on the games - while others are saying they provide an opportunity to protest against an unjust law.
