Gaza aid shortage continues amid fragile truce

Displaced Palestinians in Gaza say they fear for their safety despite a brokered ceasefire. Meanwhile, relief agencies warn that the flood of aid promised by the truce is far from being realized, and that the medical situation in the territory continues to deteriorate.

Thousands of displaced families in Gaza are struggling to survive under makeshift tents amid ruins, despite a fragile ceasefire. Essential supplies like food, medicine and hygiene products remain scarce, and hospitals lack life-saving drugs. Aid crossings have reopened, but the UN warns deliveries are far below what is needed as winter approaches, leaving many vulnerable to harsh conditions.
