Nearly one month after Israel and the militant group Hamas signed the first phase of a ceasefire deal, Israeli troops still occupy much of Gaza. Concrete blocks mark the so-called yellow line, which Palestinians aren't allowed to cross.

In Gaza, concrete blocks mark the "yellow line," a new border drawn by the Israeli military.

Residents near Jabalia say the line cuts them off from their homes and daily needs.

Gunfire and drone strikes continue behind the barrier, with Israel saying it is targeting remaining Hamas fighters.

Residents are pleading for a swift Israeli withdrawal and the start of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
