German Chancellor Merkel further opposes cash injection for Greece

Germany remains at odds with most of its partners in the European Union over whether and how to help Greece out of its debt crisis. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has repeatedly spoken out against a bail-out, which would be extremely unpopular with the German electorate. The President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, has backed up Merkel's argument that as long as Greece does not ask for money, there is no need to talk about it.
