German companies face rising energy costs and limited government help

Not everyone in Germany is paying the same amount to turn on their lightbulbs or power their plants. With energy costs expected to rise as the country phases out nuclear power, the state has provided subsidies for businesses that wouldn't be able to compete globally with the higher costs. But now, some are finding that government help is limited as well.
