German Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel can sign the controversial trade agreement between the EU and Canada next Tuesday. Emergency appeals filed against it were rejected by Germany’s Constitutional Court, but a few strict conditions have been applied. That should make the decision palatable to both supporters and opponents.
