German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle draws a positiv balance of his first official visit to the mideast

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is on his way back to Germany, after his first official visit to the mideast. During his trip, he called on Israel and the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table. Speaking after a meeting with the Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Westerwelle said a two-state solution was the only way to achieve a lasting peace.
