German island hit by Russia sanctions

Trade between the EU and Russia has dropped off sharply since sanctions were imposed on Russia in 2014 for its actions in Ukraine. Even so, many German businesses, like some on the island of Rügen, had expected to see a slight rise in exports this year - but new US sanctions have called that into question.
