German police shoot dead Berlin Pride attack suspect

A 21-year-old man suspected of carrying out a deadly attack near Berlin’s Christopher Street Day celebrations was shot dead by police a day later, authorities said. The suspect allegedly drove a minivan into pedestrians in Tiergarten Park near the Brandenburg Gate, killing one person and injuring 29 others.
