German Pop - Heisskalt

Heisskalt, which translates to Hot Cold, are one of Germany's most talked about newcomer bands. In their songs, they mix a raucous racket with more tender moments - tossing in a dash of social commentary along the way.

“As a kid I always dreamt of playing at the Rock am Ring festival. Now things are at a stage where I could imagine that actually happening," says Matze Bloech, lead singer of German hardcore band Heisskalt, one of the most talked about groups in the country.

Founded in 2010 by bassist Lucas Mayer, guitarist Philipp Koch, drummer Marius Bornmann and lead singer Matze Bloech, the guys have come a long way in a short time. These days, they are able to live from their music and have big plans for the future.
