Germans living in children's homes during the postwar years claim compensation for abuses suffered

Officials of Germany's two main churches, protestant and catholic, have apologized for the wrongs done in the children's homes which they administered during the postwar years. Many children in the homes were beaten and abused. Now they're finally getting a hearing at a series of round table meetings. But some say they're entitled to compensation.
