During a press conference, ministers Alexander Dobrindt and Johann Wadephul disclosed intelligence findings about the incident in which an explosive-laden drone was found at Leipzig Airport last month.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul and Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt blame Moscow for an explosive-laden drone found at Leipzig Airport, which is also a hub for loading Ukrainian military planes with supplies.

They said it was part of a pattern of hybrid attacks by Moscow.

Authorities found a drone near a Ukrainian cargo jet at Leipzig's international airport on August 4.

That night an object collided in midair with a DHL cargo plane that had been unable to land because of the drone incident.

Days later, a possible third drone was found near the airport.
