Taiwan is not a member of the United Nations, and Germany doesn't maintain full diplomatic relations with the country. But business ties are strong. At the Taiwan-Germany Joint Business Council Meeting in Taipei on Tuesday, the focus was on closer cooperation, especially in the field of green energy.
