Germany is increasing its spending on fighting the world's three most deadly diseases - to two hundred million euros a year - for the next three years. The announcement came at a Berlin conference of donors to the global fund for aids, malaria and tuberculosis. Berlin said on Wednesday that it was cancelling part of Indonesia's debt so that Jakarta had more money to fight the illnesses.
