German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel is in Hong Kong for the Asia Pacific Conference, where business delegations from Asia and Germany rub shoulders. The German delegation will be looking to build new relationships - the Asia Pacific rim is a vital trading partner for Germany, but weaker growth in China means Germany is currently running a trade deficit with the bloc.
