German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is ending his two-day diplomatic trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories. During talks with senior politicians from both sides, he urged Israel to allow more aid into Gaza. Wadephul also condemned violence committed against Palestinians by Israeli settlers.

During a visit to the occupied West Bank, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul condemned recent Israeli settler violence as "terror" and called for prosecution. He criticized reports of Israeli army complicity and warned against annexation plans for Gaza or the West Bank, stating Germany would not recognize such moves.

While reaffirming Germany's support for Israel, Wadephul ruled out recognizing Palestinian statehood for now, emphasizing the need for a negotiated two-state solution.
