Germany's biggest internet providers agree to block access to child pornography

We begin here in Germany, where the biggest internet providers have agreed a deal with the government designed to block access to online child pornography. Officials estimate there are some 400,000 attempts in Germany every day to enter child pornography sites. Critics say the move will be ineffective, and amounts to censorship. But the government says the move will bring Germany in line with several other countries where similar blocks exist.
