Germany: Families separated by new policy

For people with so-called "subsidiary protection," family reunification is about to be suspended for at least two years. The German government justifies this by claiming the country has "overloaded capacity for integration." But for those affected, it means indefinite separation, the effects of which can be devastating and long-lasting.
