I’m the host of Deutsche Welle’s interactive talkshow Shabab Talk (a political talk show format for young people) and the Social Media Reporter for its news program Journal. I’m the typical tri-medial reporter who tweets, posts, films and interviews at the same time. Since the “Arab spring”, I’ve reported on the ground from Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. My documentary After the storm was nominated for the best documentary at the Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival 2013 and UNSPOKEN Human Rights Film Festival, New York.

Born in Liberia and raised in Switzerland and Lebanon, I studied Media Computer Science at the TU Dresden and at the INSA Lyon and am currently doing a Masters in Communication and Leadership at Quadriga University Berlin, alongside my work at Deutsche Welle.

What was your biggest challenge growing up?
Moving from country to country.

Who do you turn to when life sucks?
My parents and my brothers - and I listen to dramatic music :-)!
