How to make a mini organizer using old toilet rolls

This browser does not support the video element.

To make this, you will need four toilet rolls, cardboard, ribbon, paints, glue, scissors, paper and whatever else you want for decoration.

Start off by painting the toilet rolls in whatever color you like.

Put glue all over the toilet rolls, on both sides because now you have to stick them all together…

Then take your cardboard, which will be the cover of the organizer.

Draw a line along it, the same width and twice the length of the toilet rolls.

Cut it along the line you drew, then take the paper you will be using to decorate the cardboard.

Stick your cardboard on the paper and cut along the line.

So you end up with a strip of covered cardboard.

Take your stuck together, painted toilet rolls, and pretend you're a pirate ;)

Or skip that bit and just stick them down on your piece of decorated cardboard – a bit less than half way along.

Fold over the ends.

Put some glue on one tip of your ribbon.

Stick it on your nose... or on the front of your almost finished organizer.

Add any other decoration you want, and you are done!

Put your bus tickets in, or anything else you don't want to lose. But remember to take it out of your pocket before you wash your trousers! Otherwise it will become mush. And if you want to know what you can do with paper mush, click here :)
