Getting Toned Through Electrical Muscle Stimulation

With EMS, electrodes are placed onto muscle groups -- covered with damp clothing. Every five seconds the electrode emits an electric current that flows through the muscle, causing it to contract just as it does in a workout. It's best to get professional assistance at the outset; otherwise you might get a severe case of muscle ache.

You can also tone deep muscles using electrodes. But as with most forms of fitness, you have to do it regularly for it to work.
