Giant linden with huge thirst

The inhabitants of Schenklengsfeld, a village in Hesse, are proud of their landmark and fondly name it 'Giant linden'. It is growing for 1200 years now and is Germany’s oldest tree. The current drought is afflicting it but the people of Schenklengsfeld know what to do.
