Giants on the Move - Cranes for Wilhelmshaven

Germany’s only deepwater port is due for completion in August of 2012. The cranes for loading cargo are coming from Shanghai. The 80-meter-tall giants are transported standing upright on ships.

The eight quay cranes from China will be the muscle of the deepwater port. "Made in Germany" is on hand for the arrival of the cranes in Wilhelmshaven. Report by Grit Hofmann.
