# The Hungarian government has launched a criminal investigation into a toxic spill which has killed four people and injured more than 120 others. Officials say it could take upto a year to clean up the industrial waste that burst out of a resevoir at an aluminium plant. Two rivers closest to the plant have been severly polluted. Reports say some of the toxic sludge has reached a tributary of the Danube... Europe's second largest river.
