With over 4000 kilometers of coastline, 13 major rivers and no shortage of sunshine, Chile is a country with great potential on the renewable energy front. Until recently, it has failed to tap this potential - but now a new law requires major energy producers to draw ten percent of their power from renewable sources. Chile is currently home to just three wind parks. But 25 more are currently in the pipeline.
