Industrial agriculture is a blessing, says one side of the argument. It's the only way to produce a lot of food in a small area, and will be the only way to feed the growing world population of the future. Wrong, says the other side. We have to rethink our eating habits.

Meat consumption indirectly leads to competition for food between humans and animals. 10 kilograms of grain and soy beans in feed are needed to bring one kilogram of meat to market.
