France and Spain are leading a Europe-wide push to get US Internet giant Google to change its policies on collecting user data. Data protection agencies in the two countries say Google risks fines of up to 300,000 euros for failing to be clear about what it does with user data, possibly processing a "disproportionate" amount of it, and storing it for too long.
