Greece makes strong return to bond market

Greece raised 3 bio. Euros through its first long-term bond offering since 2010. The finance ministry says nearly 90 percent of sales were to international investors. Analysts see this as a strong comeback for a government that’s trying to regain control of its own economy, and wean off its dependence on bailouts. But the celebratory mood was almost overshadowed by a bomb attack in central Athens.
