Rose grower David Austin has displayed almost 200 varieties since he started coming to the Chelsea flower show over 30 years ago. Austin sells some 1.5 million rose bushes from the main plant center every year. His company has subsidiaries elsewhere in Europe, as well as in the US and Japan. His English roses are in demand the world over.
