The Trump administration continues to threaten Greenland — saying all options, including military action, are on the table. US Vice President JD Vance says the European Union isn't doing a good job protecting Greenland.

Tensions are increasing as the United States pressures NATO allies on Greenland. US Vice President JD Vance says the European Union isn’t doing enough to secure the Arctic island; French President Emmanuel Macron warns of a fractured global order. Greenland’s vast resources and strategic location make it a key object of US desire — and residents increasingly fear that the United States could escalate militarily. Secretary of State Marco Rubio plans talks with Danish officials next week.
