US President Trump has floated Greenland as a new strategic priority, citing national security concerns as well as the island's pivotal location and vast, untapped resources, from oil and gas to critical minerals.

Greenland is emerging as a major geopolitical hotspot as climate change exposes vast reserves of oil, gas, and rare earth elements essential for modern technologies.
