Whether combined with a bread roll or fries, currywurst is one of Germany's most popular snacks. Despite the fact that it's not exactly low on calories, Germans and visitors alike love it. Annually an estimated 850 million currywursts are sold. And no less than three German regions claim to have originated the recipe.
