After showing strong results in the first nine months of 2002, the hair care and cosmetics company Wella has raised it sales forecast for the year as a whole. The company, based in the city of Darmstadt, announced January-to-September profits of around 186 million euro (dollars) and a 6.3 percent growth in turnover this year. Despite the continuing weak economic climate, Wella is remaining by its forecast of a 10 to 14 percent overall increase in sales.
