UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says half of the Syrian population is in urgent need of aid. His comments come as delegates from nearly 70 countries attend a donor conference in Kuwait. So far they've pledged almost a billion euros worth of aid. But that's only one fifth of what the UN says Syria needs.
