Hamburg Cell Members Face 9/11 Civil Suits

Even if he is acquitted as a result of his current retrial in Hamburg, suspected Moroccan 9/11 terrorist helper Mounir El Motassadeq can count on being hit with a wave of lawsuits seeking compensatory damages for the attack on the World Trade Center in New York. The families of the Sept. 11 victims have filed civil suits against some 300 people assumed to be connected to the terror attacks, among them Motassadeq and the other Hamburg-based suspect, Abdelghani Mzoudi. The lawyers for the joint plaintiff informed the judges of the suits during the the current trial in Hamburg.
