August 10, 2017Advertisement
The 27th Hanse Sail in Rostock on the coast of the Baltic Sea again displays traditional ships from four continents as the center of attention. According to the organizers, three of the biggest traditional tall ships of the world - The Sedov, The Krusenstern and The Mir - will be moored at the port.
New this year are the numerous regattas, water-ski shows and a rubber dinghy ballet. On land, there will be a vigorous program with nine music and show stages. For the first time, the festival will be secured with mobile truck barricades.
The Hanse Sail goes on until Sunday (August 13, 2017) with approximately one million visitors expected.
