Have tribal marks outlived their purpose?

One fast-vanishing aspect of African society is tribal markings. While some people have them done for spiritual reasons, others do it for identity purposes. Some cultural enthusiasts want the practice to stay, but many modern Ghanaians are abandoning the practice.
