In Hamburg to promote an epilator for German electronics company Braun, Klum showed off her legs and told reporters that they'd been insured by her employer.
"Together, they're worth £2.2 million (€3.18 million, $3.95 million)," she said, adding that the company had insured them for that amount after a London auction house had estimated their value. But according to company officials, the supermodel's legs have "only" been valued at €1.6 million.
Should she ever intend to sell them, she'd probably get less for one of them because of a small scar from a fall, Klum said without revealing which leg bore the blemish.
"They took off points for that," she added.
Despite all that, Klum -- one of the world's most sought after models -- said she's not planning on getting paranoid about protecting her legs.
"I hope I don't have to (be more careful)," said Klum, who recently gave birth to her first daughter. "I want to go skiing this winter."
