Get the inside scoop through an exciting game instead of a dry newspaper article - that’s the idea behind newsgames. And like traditional journalism, they offer a variety of perspectives. Users can put themselves in the role of a finance minister, a sweatshop operator, or a refugee. Cologne-based journalist Marcus Bösch is Germany’s newsgame pioneer. In his version, players become NSA agents.
